The CDL Driver role at Quanta Services Inc is a critical position that requires a high level of responsibility and expertise. As a CDL Driver, you will be operating a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers, to transport tools and materials to and from construction sites.

The ideal candidate will have a valid medical card, a Class A or Class B- CDL license, and a clean driving record. In addition, they will have completed OSHA 10 safety training and have good verbal and written communication skills.

The CDL Driver will work closely with the operations team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that all materials are delivered safely and on time. This is a physically demanding role that requires prolonged periods of operating heavy equipment in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport tools and materials to and from construction sites
  • Inspect, lubricate, and fuel equipment before each shift
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and meetings
  • Report any issues to the supervisor or higher-level employee

Requirements:

  • Valid medical card
  • Class A or Class B- CDL license
  • Clean driving record
  • OSHA 10 safety training
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to push and/or pull 50-pound loads
