Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Education Assistant at Little Endeavors Child Development Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Caregiving: Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment for young children.
  • General Maintenance: Perform daily cleanup after activities and snack, and complete a nightly checklist to maintain a clean and organized center.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management, and establish a positive image as a role model for our children and families.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete nightly chores and assist with laundry duties, while maintaining a professional service manner and adhering to Little Endeavors policies.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Teamwork: Strive to assume a fair share of work, maintain communication with morning staff, and approach criticism with a learning attitude.
  • Communication: Be friendly and respectful, look for ways to be helpful around the center, and communicate directly while avoiding gossip.
Attendance and Performance
  • Reliability: Be reliable in attendance, giving ample notice for absence, and be on-time for shifts.
  • Performance: Be careful and conscientious in performance of duties, using positive words and actions towards children, parents, and staff.

**Note:** Completes all DHS requirements on trainings, background checks, and physicals in a timely manner after being hired or annually.
