Your Role

As a Lead iOS Software Engineer at CloudKitchens, you will play a pivotal role within our data-focused development team, aiding in the advancement of innovative internal and external tools. Your responsibilities will include:
    • Data-Centric Development: Engage actively in a data-driven development environment.
    • Strategic Planning: Participate in the planning of various internal tools.
    • Agile Practices: Develop and test software utilizing agile methodologies.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with a team to enhance and support our technology.
    • Code Development: Write, debug, maintain, and test code across multiple projects.
    • System Architecture: Design scalable systems with a strong emphasis on architecture.
    • Continuous Enhancement: Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
    • Innovation Leadership: Foster innovation within the team and support the technological growth of CloudKitchens.
    • Full Stack Flexibility: Adapt between our Java-based backend services and frontend implementations as project needs dictate.
    Team Focus

    The Otter team provides a comprehensive suite of software and hardware solutions tailored for restaurants. This includes integrating orders across various platforms, QR code ordering, POS systems, kiosks, and printers. The diverse product offerings present a unique set of challenges in terms of discovery and setup.

    You will be an integral member of the Otter Engineering team, dedicated to developing products for our internal operations users across sales, onboarding, and customer success, as well as for external clients navigating the process of discovering, purchasing, onboarding, and upselling within the Otter product ecosystem. Our full stack team consists of frontend and backend engineers, designers, and a project manager, all united in our mission to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

    Candidate Profile
    • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
    • Experience Level: L5 or L6 (minimum of 7 years of relevant experience).
    • Individual Contributions: Proven history of impactful contributions in previous roles.
    • Architectural Skills: Strong capability to design and develop sustainable architecture from the ground up and enhance existing systems.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
    • iOS Development: Proficiency in native iOS application development.
    • Web Development: Experience with React.
    • Preferred Skills:
      • Android Development Experience
      • Design Systems Knowledge
      • Familiarity with frameworks such as Remix.
