The Ambulatory Care Unit Nurse will be responsible for monitoring post-operative patients in the ACU and PACU, providing expert care and ensuring a smooth recovery process. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the anesthesia department to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Registered Nurse with New Hampshire license or Compact License
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing (preferred)
- One year of nursing experience (preferred)
