Essential Functions:


RESULTS ORIENTATION Analyze available sales data and reports to identify business needs and formulate strategic initiatives based on that analysis.

Establish KPI objectives (Average Transaction Value, Units Per Transaction, and conversion rates) and hold the team accountable for achieving them.
Continuously mentor and inspire the team to meet set goals and expectations.
Ensure associates develop their sales techniques and product knowledge to maximize revenue growth.
Exemplify sales leadership by actively engaging on the sales floor.
Collaborate with the Regional/District Supervisor and Marketing to pinpoint promotional opportunities to boost sales.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Ensure all team members deliver the highest standard of customer service.

Enhance Goodwill brand loyalty by coaching the sales team to communicate the benefits of the Goodwill Rewards program and Mission, consistently informing customers about the advantages of participation.

Encourage customer loyalty by guiding store teams to capture customer data using Company tools (POS), facilitating connections with customers, building relationships, and personalizing future engagement opportunities.

Develop customer relationships by recognizing and engaging repeat clients.
Address all customer complaints and issues promptly, efficiently, and respectfully, ensuring a positive experience overall.
OPERATIONS Ensure adherence to cash control protocols, including bank deposits, safe funds, and petty cash management.
Oversee store Profit and Loss by managing controllable expenses and labor costs.
Implement effective scheduling to maintain adequate floor coverage and consistent processing of donations while adhering to payroll budgets.
Ensure staff is trained in all aspects of register usage and maintenance.

Collaborate with Loss Prevention to uphold Loss Prevention policies and proactively identify trends that minimize the loss of Company assets and funds.

Safeguard store assets and inventory. Report any Loss Prevention concerns to the Regional/District Supervisor.

Support, promote, and take responsibility for loss prevention across all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, and transfer processes.

Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized working environment in the production area.
Replenish the sales floor, cash wrap, and donations area as needed.
Ensure accurate product assessment, boutique product selection, and pricing where applicable.

Maximize the efficiency of the stockroom to ensure a quick and effective flow of products to the sales floor.

Adapt the stockroom to meet seasonal demands and donation fluctuations to optimize capacity.
Ensure that donations are treated with respect upon receipt from donors.
Guarantee that the presorting of donations is completed effectively to support swift processing to the sales floor.
Measure and enhance inventory productivity to meet established targets.
Execute production tasks during assigned shifts.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, staying updated on any amendments.
MERCHANDISING/ VISUAL Implement and uphold all merchandising directives, ensuring effective execution of merchandising strategies.
Collaborate with the warehouse and District Supervisor to maintain appropriate assortment and inventory levels for the store.
Identify and communicate product concerns promptly.
Ensure the selling floor is organized, clean, and consistently reflects the correct visual image.
Ensure that all windows, displays, fixtures, and visual areas are presented according to current visual guidelines.
HUMAN RESOURCES Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring all positions are filled promptly with qualified candidates.

Continuously evaluate employee proficiency in their roles and provide timely training to equip them with the necessary tools to meet expectations.

Champion, implement, and follow up on all training programs initiated by the corporate office.

Regularly assess the performance of each team member and provide consistent feedback to foster improvement, develop bench strength, and plan for succession.

Utilize Company tools and documentation to support these efforts.
Resolve all employee relations issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with HR when necessary.
Ensure the integrity of payroll and the payroll process.
Maintain professional grooming standards that reflect the Brand image at all times.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience in retail management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to internal applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Must be able to stand for extended periods and capable of pushing/pulling up to 50lbs.
Must have flexible availability and be willing to work holidays. Your schedule will be determined by business needs.
