Job Title: Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and equipment to ensure our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance services to prevent equipment failure
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide excellent customer service
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective repairs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation
