We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outpatient Registrar to join our team at Doylestown Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately registering patients for outpatient services, ensuring seamless reimbursement and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and complete accurate patient pre-registration or registration
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Secure and verify authorization for service
- Enter physician orders accurately into the ADM and ITS modules
- Identify and collect patient financial responsibility
- High School or equivalent education required
- Hospital or insurance experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent communication skills
