About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our bakery team at Market of Choice. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Decorate cakes using various techniques, including fondant, gold leaf, and sugar art
  • Deliver wedding and other specialty cakes to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Assemble pastries and other baked goods as needed
  • Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles safely
  • Provide professional and courteous communication to customers, employees, and vendors
  • Create and maintain accurate store records
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks

Requirements

  • Previous professional cake decorating experience
  • Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
