The Transport Paramedic plays a critical role in providing advanced critical care during medical transports. As the first point of contact, they partner with emergency responders to evaluate situations and provide life-saving support. This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in emergency medical procedures, patient assessment, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate emergency medical vehicles and respond to emergency situations.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate treatment.
  • Administer medications and perform invasive procedures as needed.
  • Communicate patient information to medical personnel at receiving facilities.
  • Manage non-medical situations, such as crowd control and patient valuables.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days.
  • Emergency Medical Paramedic certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Associate's degree or certificate preferred.
