Job Summary

At WFS, we're looking for a skilled Air Logistics Cargo Handler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of cargo shipments for our business-to-customer delivery system. You'll work safely and securely, contributing to our exceptional service levels and reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Transport, load, and unload cargo from aircraft within confined areas.
  2. Operate various types of ground equipment, including vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs.
  3. Position vehicles up to aircraft and engage in push-out procedures.
  4. Read "off-load" sheets to determine the destination of cargo.
  5. Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
  6. Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings.

Requirements and Preferences

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's license and 1-year Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
