Respiratory Therapist Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Practitioner to join our critical care team at Jupiter Medical Center, Inc.

As a Respiratory Therapist Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert respiratory care to critically ill patients.

• Provide all aspects of respiratory care in both critical and non-critical care areas.
• Assist and advise staff Certified Respiratory Practitioners as needed.
• Perform aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gases, pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, and assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy.
• Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A graduate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
• Current Florida RT or TT license (CRT is accepted but must become a Registered Respiratory Therapist within 36 months).
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification (NRP Certified within 90 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 40lbs.

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods. You must be able to work in a stressful environment, making sound decisions, detail-oriented, alert, and self-motivated.

The estimated salary for this position is $62,500-$82,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
