Cybersecurity and Governance Specialist

AFR Furniture Rental is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity & Compliance Manager to lead the development and implementation of our security programs, tools, and policies. This role requires strategic thinking and leadership skills to ensure the effective execution and oversight of security measures.

1. Develop a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with organizational goals.
2. Create, maintain, and update security policies, standards, and procedures.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring security events, incident response, and investigation.
5. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
6. Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
8. Coordinate and participate in security audits, both internal and external.
9. Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
10. Provide ongoing training to IT and non-IT staff to enhance their understanding of security issues.
11. Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents.
12. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security controls.

1. 7-10 years of experience in information technology, preferably in a senior leadership role.
2. 3-5 years of management experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and governance.
3. 1-3 years of experience working with Azure resources and security tools.
4. Certification in ITIL or practical experience.
5. Knowledge of data backup and recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery continuity of operations plans.
6. Knowledge of controls related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of data.
7. Knowledge of server and client operating systems.
8. Skill in creating policies that reflect system security objectives.
9. Knowledge of current and emerging security threats.

$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
