- Develop a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Create, maintain, and update security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring security events, incident response, and investigation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate and participate in security audits, both internal and external.
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
- Provide ongoing training to IT and non-IT staff to enhance their understanding of security issues.
- Conduct forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security controls.
- 7-10 years of experience in information technology, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- 3-5 years of management experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and governance.
- 1-3 years of experience working with Azure resources and security tools.
- Certification in ITIL or practical experience.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery continuity of operations plans.
- Knowledge of controls related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of data.
- Knowledge of server and client operating systems.
- Skill in creating policies that reflect system security objectives.
- Knowledge of current and emerging security threats.
$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
