The Advanced Systems Development Engineer role is pivotal in driving the innovation and enhancement of advanced systems within the defense sector. This position focuses on the strategic development of missile systems and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies to define mission requirements and system architecture.
- Engage in comprehensive requirements analysis and management to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Lead technical planning and risk assessment activities for system elements.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and evaluate system designs and solutions.
- Conduct detailed analyses to identify and resolve system design challenges.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support project management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Advanced Systems Engineering.
- Proven experience with CON-OPS, missile systems, and strategic weapon technologies.
- Familiarity with Model Based Engineering tools and methodologies.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
