Scope of Work

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will utilize the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals. The RN will prioritize patient safety, quality, and satisfaction, and will work collaboratively with patients and families to educate them on their care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Associates in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's in Nursing required within five years.
  • Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools may be considered with at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role.
  • Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days, with AHA Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year.
  • NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale is required within 90 days.
