As a Pest Control Technician at JP McHale Pest Management LLC, you will serve as a crucial connection between our organization and our customers, delivering outstanding service. Your role will involve diagnosing current pest issues and advising on preventive measures to avert future infestations. Ultimately, your daily responsibilities will revolve around assisting community members in overcoming pest-related challenges, fostering enduring relationships with clients, and safeguarding their residences and businesses.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Understanding of various pests, rodents, and other nuisances.
- Familiarity with pest control solutions, services, treatments, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Capability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Ability to navigate through structures, including crawl spaces, and to climb ladders and stairs.
- Proficient in using necessary personal protective equipment.
- Skilled in conducting visual inspections for pest presence and entry points.
- Ability to endure diverse environmental conditions, including varying weather and potentially dusty or damp environments.
- Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Compliance with OSHA/FIFRA regulations during pest control operations.
- Safe operation and maintenance of the company vehicle in accordance with DOT and company standards.
- Completion of scheduled services with accurate documentation of work performed.
- Reports and paperwork must be thorough, precise, and submitted punctually.
- Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to actual or potential issues.
- Physical capability to meet job demands, including walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
