Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Aide to join our team at MLK Community Hospital. As an EVS Aide, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces.
  • Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Participate in infection control and prevention efforts, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of high-touch areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the hospital.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in environmental services or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts as needed.

Working Conditions:

This is a per diem position, working variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The EVS Aide will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all hospital safety protocols.
