Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Shelby Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on our Acute Medical Floor, you will provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of residence/practice
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • Experience working in an acute medical setting
