Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Identify actual or potential health issues based on collected data and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and initiate necessary medications and treatments based on clinical evaluations.
- Perform routine procedures, including injections, immunizations, and wound care.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and medications.
This position reports to the supervising physician and the Operations Manager of Practice Management.
Physical Demands: This role may involve additional physical requirements and respiratory fit testing. Please refer to the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for further details. There is a potential risk of exposure to infections, communicable diseases, and other hazards, necessitating adherence to standard precautions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
- Specialized certification in women's health or gender-related recognition.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
