About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Concentra. As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in leading our clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Clinical Outcomes
    • Provide direct patient care and lead by example to create an exceptional patient experience.
    • Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case management.
    • Monitor key clinical center metrics and ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC.
  • Patient, Employer, and Payer Experience
    • Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
    • Work with clinic leadership to manage clinical and support staffing levels.
    • Promote and exemplify Orange Book values for all clinic staff.
  • Build Teams
    • Develop colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff.
    • Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
    • Lead and promote collaboration within clinic leadership team and across disciplines to achieve clinical and business outcomes.
  • Business Acumen
    • Accountable for understanding and input on clinic financial and outcomes to achieve annual business goals.
    • Promote clinic initiatives and workflows that are consistent with those in other Concentra locations.
    • Possess financial awareness and provide input to clinic budget and key business metrics.
Requirements
  • Preferred Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license.
  • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
  • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
