Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary:

Vaco is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge enterprise software solutions tailored to optimize manufacturing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various business units to identify process/system limitations and devise applications to enhance business efficiency and automation.
  • Design, construct, and implement highly scalable applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Write code proficiently across a range of programming and scripting languages.
  • Ensure adherence to approved design plans and coding standards.
  • Work within a collaborative team environment to enhance DevOps processes continually.
  • Uphold accountability for software quality, ensuring adherence to best practices and thorough testing.
  • Analyze technical requirements independently, devising solutions for both new application creation and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Assist with technical planning sessions, demonstrating a knack for translating concepts into actionable technical solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with both immediate team members and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/engineering, MIS, information systems, or similar field.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Extensive full-stack experience spanning over 5 years.
  • Proficiency in Angular (minimum version 10, up to and including 14) and experience in migrating from AngularJS to new versions of Angular.
  • Deep understanding of Angular best practices and modules.
  • Strong command of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, JSON, CSS, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficiency in C# .NET technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate with REST APIs.
  • Commitment to writing secure and maintainable code.
  • Proficiency across multiple programming languages with a capacity to work independently.
  • Sound knowledge of object-oriented development principles and design patterns.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing cloud-backed applications, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and service fabric.
  • Exposure to mobile development and/or machine learning/artificial intelligence.
  • Proficiency in QA testing, particularly in developing automated test infrastructure using scripting languages such as Python.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
