Charge Nurse, Complex Orthopedic Care Specialist

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a complex orthopedic setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices and policies.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
