We are a dynamic woodworking company seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a permanent, full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art millwork products in the manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment and is eager to apply their expertise to create high-quality, precision-engineered millwork designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed millwork designs and plans based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Review and modify existing drawings, making adjustments or changes as necessary.
  • Perform complex calculations to determine manufacturing specifications and material requirements.
  • Use 3D modeling to visualize end products and make necessary modifications.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing expert advice and feedback on millwork designs.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest CAD software and technology, implementing them into your work to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and standards, as well as industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CAD Engineer role, with a focus on millwork preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of millwork products and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a team and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a remote setting, with reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
