About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly qualified Counselor Educator to serve as the Director of our Counseling Training Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and clients.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in counseling, supervise practicum students, and provide clinical services to individuals and groups.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies and schools to enhance clinical training opportunities for students.
- Manage clinic operations, including budgeting, staff supervision, and quality assurance.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development, including research, grant writing, and publication.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Counseling or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program.
- A minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience in higher education, preferably in a CACREP-accredited program.
- Strong teaching, research, and clinical skills, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in clinical practice, program development, and leadership roles in higher education.
- Ability to secure external funding for research and clinical initiatives.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards in counseling education.
