Senior QA Automation Engineer

Agilious is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Agile Consulting practice. Our Agile consultants work closely with our customers to support them throughout their project needs. Our goal is to help our clients deliver value quickly and delight their end users by enabling a healthy Agile mindset and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform business/system/quality requirements analysis and review
  • Identify the testable requirements and prepare the test strategy for each of the testing types identified
  • Write comprehensive test plans for functional regression acceptance and stress testing
  • Perform Functional regression performance test
  • Design and develop automated test scripts for Regression testing
  • Conduct and facilitate the UAT at the client site
  • Perform production verification after software install
  • Assist in postproduction support such as end-user support; troubleshooting of issues on relevant production-like environments

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience as a QA professional utilizing industry best practices in Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies testing frameworks and analyzing processes and practices to drive improvement
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with FISMA standards security and accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance guidelines
  • MUST have experience writing automated test scripts and leveraging automation tools such as Cypress Selenium and Load Runner
  • Provided support in performance testing using JMeter, including developing test plans, test scripts, and reports
  • Detail-oriented, capable of working under limited direction toward predefined objectives, and can independently determine and develop solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision yet collaboratively within and across Agile teams
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with peers and clients
  • Strong attention to detail for technical and quality excellence
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritize work according to importance
  • Experience developing overall test strategy and plans for complex system implementations, including a variety of technologies and design patterns
  • Test Automation Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS) Visual Studio Test Professional Selenium/Cucumber
  • Strong SQL RDBMS and basic coding skills using XML JavaScript and scripting languages
  • API testing with Postman SOAP UI or equivalent
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, communications, engineering, business, or a related field is required
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
