About the Position

This part-time position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, positioning patients, and selecting technical factors to obtain optimal scan quality. Additionally, you will assist physicians with various recommendations for obtaining optimal studies by suggesting selections for technical factors for procedures.

  • Perform ultrasound procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and efficient use of time

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, adhering to department standards of continued quality improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong foundation in ultrasound technology and patient care
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of technical knowledge to perform more specialized U/S studies with minimal assistance from Radiologists
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Based on industry standards and comparable positions in the Chicago area, we estimate the annual salary for this role to be between $55,000 and $65,000. This amount may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
