Job Title: Neurorehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurorehabilitation Physician to join our team at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with neurological disorders.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position at our South Baltimore County Medical Center and Nottingham Medical Center. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other physicians within the Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic Region.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients with neurological disorders requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation services, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans involving therapeutic modalities to enhance function and facilitate community reintegration.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, with a focus on improving functional outcomes and quality of life.
  • Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities to maintain currency with advances in the field.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Neurology.
  • Fellowship training in neurorehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

The starting annual salary for this position is $275,000, which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
