Reason for Recruitment
There is a significant demand for sports medicine services, creating a need for qualified professionals in this field.
Practice Overview
The primary care sports medicine specialist will be responsible for addressing acute injuries such as sprains, strains, contusions, and joint pain, as well as managing non-surgical fractures and dislocations. Chronic injuries resulting from overuse or the natural wear and tear of muscles and joints will also be part of the practice scope. Additionally, the physician will specialize in managing sports-related medical conditions, employing treatment methods that may include diagnostic and procedural ultrasound, restorative medicine, performance arts medicine, and concussion management. Should surgical intervention be necessary, the specialist will facilitate referrals to orthopedic or specialized surgeons.
Work Schedule
This position entails traditional office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is flexibility to discuss alternative scheduling models.
