About the Job

">

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will develop and implement multidisciplinary therapeutic patient care plans, order and interpret laboratory and radiologic tests, and coordinate interdisciplinary care with Pediatric Specialists and Obstetric physicians.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans through analysis of scientific literature and technologies.">
  • Order and interpret laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic testing to establish comprehensive diagnoses.">
  • Design and participate in quality improvement initiatives as a recognized unit leader.">
  • Evaluate and revise therapeutic plans for unstable patients with dynamic changes in physiology and disease states.">
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care by communicating with Pediatric Specialists and Obstetric physicians regarding patient management and establishing care plans for high-risk, unstable, or complex patients.">

Qualifications and Requirements

">

To be eligible for this position, you must have a current, active, valid license as a Nurse Practitioner in a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction. You must also have a degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed.
