We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. As a Critical Care Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- 1 year of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or Critical Care setting
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Experience with cardiac-specific procedures and treatments
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
