Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Womens Center, you will be responsible for performing general ultrasounds, including abdominal, DVT, pelvic, obstetrics, small parts, and breast exams. You will work closely with radiologists to provide diagnostic information and assist with biopsies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasounds, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist radiologists with biopsies and other procedures as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be able to perform well under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Work independently, as you will be the only sonographer on shift.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer, or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty certification.
  • Current Radiology license through the State of Idaho.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
