Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? IMEG Corp, a leading design consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Senior Lighting Designer at IMEG, you will play a key role in project management, staff development, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Architectural Engineering, Theatrical Lighting Design, Interior Design, or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the building design consulting industry. Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business development team members, directors, client executives, and other stakeholders to write proposals and sell lighting design services;
  • Develop client relationships and maintain client relationships on projects;
  • Provide internal leadership and expertise in lighting design;
  • Maintain and support consistent quality across projects;
  • Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects ranging in size and complexity;
  • Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients;
  • Provide mentorship and function in a supervisory role on projects and for team;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications;
  • Enriched 2D and 3D visualization and design skills;
  • Expanded knowledge and understanding of lighting design including both visual and technical aspects;
  • Ability to train and mentor less experienced staff;
  • Proficiency of industry standard engineering software and tools including AGI32 lighting software;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • Eagerness to adapt to new challenges;
  • Proficiency in the use of BIM software;
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook;

Benefits and Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $92,000 - $134,000 based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Additionally, employees are eligible to enroll in health, dental, vision, and life insurance on their first day of employment.
