Position Overview

We are seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate support to a couple in San Mateo. This role involves adhering to a comprehensive care plan within the clients' residence. You will be responsible for delivering not only personalized and attentive care but also for fostering meaningful relationships with those you assist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, including mobility assistance in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or vehicles.
  • Support clients by managing household tasks such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, and personal care assistance.
  • Document patient care, conditions, progress, or issues, and communicate observations with the supervisor.
  • Engage with clients through conversation or reading to promote mental well-being and alertness.
  • Provide medication reminders as needed.
  • Encourage clients to participate in exercises or other activities.
Qualifications for an Ideal Caregiver
  • Registered Home Care Aide with a valid TB test.
  • A minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
