Responsibilities

Are you passionate about being the initial point of contact and making a lasting positive impression? This role involves overseeing the financial clearance process within Patient Access. The Patient Access Services Representative is expected to convey information clearly, ensuring that patients, guarantors, and family members comprehend their responsibilities. Key responsibilities include:

- Executing pre-registration, registration, and insurance verification processes.
- Conducting interviews with patients and guarantors to collect insurance details and confirm eligibility.
- Collaborating with medical personnel, nursing staff, ancillary departments, and insurance providers.

Qualifications

Required
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience along with relevant computer skills.
Preferred
  • Post-secondary education.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical environment with registration duties.
  • Prior experience with Epic software.
