Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $17.00/hour

Job Responsibilities

The Security Site Supervisor is tasked with safeguarding the premises, including buildings, grounds, assets, employees, students, and visitors from criminal activities, accidents, fires, and natural disasters, while also delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Access Control: Ensure that only authorized personnel gain entry to the site.
  • Foot Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the facilities, monitoring for security, safety, or maintenance concerns.
  • Mobile Patrol: Oversee the site using a personal vehicle for patrols.
  • Supervision: Directly manage and oversee subordinate staff.
  • Training: Facilitate the training of all assigned officers, ensuring adherence to site guidelines.
  • Client Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with the designated client representative.
  • Scheduling: Organize officer shifts three weeks in advance, ensuring no overtime unless previously authorized.
  • Incident Reporting: Review and approve all incident reports generated by staff.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • No felony convictions; must pass a criminal background check.
  • Successful completion of a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
  • Preferred experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must present a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, including traversing long distances and stairs.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
