Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff UI Engineer to join our Brand Central Portal team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the front-end architecture that powers our platform's user experience. Your expertise will guide the development of intuitive, scalable, and responsive UI components, ensuring a seamless and engaging interface for brand owners to manage their online sales and presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the front-end architecture of the Brand Central Portal, ensuring it aligns with the overall technical vision and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and design mockups into interactive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Optimize UI components and application code for performance, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth user experience even during high traffic periods.
  • Create and maintain documentation for UI components, coding standards, and best practices to facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Understand the specific needs and challenges of the e-commerce industry and ensure the portal meets those requirements effectively.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in React and related libraries, with the ability to design and develop complex user interfaces using React components.
  • Proficiency in React, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, and CSS, including knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions to ensure consistent performance across different web browsers.
  • Create intuitive and responsive User Interfaces (UI) that provide an exceptional user experience, leveraging your expertise in front-end technologies.
  • Able to maintain high-performance service requirements.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior experience building e-commerce customer portals
  • High proficiency at problem-solving
  • High performance on speed, team player, and details
