This position involves assisting with exams and minor procedures, taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and maintaining a clean and functional environment. You will also coordinate patient care, manage records, and provide administrative support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clinicians with exams and procedures, such as phlebotomy, ear irrigation, and EKGs
- Take and record vital signs, symptoms, and other necessary measurements
- Document patient information, including chief complaints and pain scores
- Maintain a clean and functional environment, including exam rooms and storage areas
- Coordinate patient care, including pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an approved medical assistant training program
- Active Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA)
- Strong computer skills, including experience with medical software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Salary:$40,000 - $55,000 per year
