Allegan County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Call-In Treatment Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate therapeutic interventions and groups to promote positive relationships and behaviors.
- Monitor and maintain facility security, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents and staff.
- Administer medications and provide basic first aid as needed.
- Coordinate daily activities, including community service and exercise outings.
- Support residents with school and group work, teaching basic life skills and promoting independence.
- Two years of college (30 semester hours) towards a social science or human services degree, or equivalent work experience in a child/adolescent care facility.
- Three months of casework experience in a court, social work, or closely related setting.
- Current unencumbered Michigan Driver's License with no more than one traffic violation in the last 12 months.
