Right At School Program Manager Role

Program Manager Salary Range: $22.25-$24.25 per hour based on experience and education.

Shifts: Monday through Friday After School only. Monday 12:45pm-6pm, Tuesday-Friday 2pm-6pm.

You'll drive the mission by:

  • Organizing program materials for lessons and activities, as well as documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations
  • Delivering our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
  • Using your coursework training and our in-person training, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
  • Meeting regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Ideal Candidates will have the following:

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
  • A love for children
  • Bilingual: English and Mandarin

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline
  • Works well in a team environment
  • A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning & the ability to engage children in learning activities in a fun and interactive way
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children
  • 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 credits from 100 class or above in college coursework
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, Proof of MMR, and Food Handlers Card
