About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Pilot to join our team at Driscoll's. As a key member of our aviation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Falcon 2000EX (Easy) aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret internal and external issues of concern and recommend best practices for the operation of the Falcon 2000EX (Easy) aircraft.
  • Lead functional teams on projects to ensure that Driscoll's aircraft are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Develop best practices for extending the service life of aircraft components.
  • Review all support services, including digital flight planning resources, inflight data connectivity, subscriptions, and related items to ensure that pilots correctly understand the safest and most optimized system for aircraft operation.
  • Manage activities in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Aviation to accomplish planned growth.
  • Contribute to the Business Unit's people priorities and objectives regarding people leader effectiveness, engaged employees, and enabling others to perform.
  • Represent Driscoll's in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pilot with a strong background in aviation. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • FAA-issued Airline Transport pilot license with no suspensions or revocations.
  • Minimum experience flying turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Four-year university degree (preferred).
  • FAA type rating in the Falcon 2000EX (Easy) aircraft (preferred).
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with verifiable experience in the repair and maintenance of general aviation aircraft (preferred).
Minimum Experience Required
  • 3,000 hours of total logged flight experience.
  • 1,500 hours Pilot In Command.
  • 1,000 hours in Jet or Turboprop.
  • 250 hours actual instrument time.
  • 300 hours night time.
  • 200 hours in type (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly motivated team player who values creating and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Ability to work well under time pressures and adapt to working outside regular hours.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • California driver's license and ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $179,000 to $220,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:
