Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from a recognized organization
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation
