The selected candidate will collaborate with a specialized project team focused on the enhancement of ISO ClaimSearch, the leading database for insurance claims. This role involves close interaction with a select group of agile teams, taking on the responsibilities of an "Automation Test Lead" and overseeing the processes and tools necessary for automated regression and functional testing. Proven experience in developing and executing automated testing frameworks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Software Quality Assurance process, including the creation, implementation, and upkeep of test plans, scenarios, and cases.
  • Evaluate requirements and design specifications to develop effective test cases.
  • Advise on test automation strategies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Build and maintain test infrastructure and custom automation tools to enhance test coverage and facilitate non-functional testing.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing for our applications and web platforms.
  • Prioritize testing activities effectively.
  • Identify and document defects with clear, concise reproduction steps.
  • Assist development teams in diagnosing and addressing defects, while suggesting system improvements.
  • Take full responsibility for testing across various applications utilizing diverse tools and technologies.
  • Engage in hands-on testing, including requirement analysis, test plan preparation, and test case development to validate new functionalities.
  • Support and execute the application testing phase (both functional and non-functional) to ensure compliance with requirements prior to production deployment.
  • Coordinate with other technology teams to facilitate comprehensive end-to-end testing.
  • Drive all automation testing initiatives, including planning, scripting, and supervising team members involved in automation efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in dissecting complex software systems.
  • Ability to assess software architectures and designs to pinpoint potential quality, performance, and scalability issues, and to develop automated testing strategies to address these areas.
  • Experience in leading QA process development, execution, and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in Automation Framework Development using Selenium and Java.
  • Knowledge of TDD, BDD, and ATDD practices.
  • Experience in designing automation testing tools for databases and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Automation Testing tools.
  • Experience with LoadRunner/JMeter for load testing.
  • Extensive knowledge of web technologies and experience in testing web APIs/REST services.
  • Experience in automating complex systems integration (End-To-End).
  • Ability to integrate Selenium regression scripts with Continuous Integration build servers like Jenkins.
  • Experience in testing hosted/cloud SaaS web applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Automation testing and tools.
  • Experience in testing native mobile applications is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
