Job Opportunity: Valve Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test valves to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble valves as needed
  • Replace faulty valves, gaskets, and seals
  • Perform preventative maintenance on valves and related equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Occasional travel to nearby locations may be required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Valves or similar Mechanical roles
  • Experience working with gaskets and proficiency in machine operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of valve repair techniques and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Ability to thrive in a hot environment and work efficiently in confined spaces
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
