Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. Job Summary:

This is a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist position available in Ashtabula, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including imaging procedures, patient preparation, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and SPECT scans
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including PET and SPECT scanners
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, including explaining procedures and results to patients and families
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities
