Semper Valens Solutions, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking an experienced IT Security Administrator to join our team in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of hands-on experience in ACAS and/or Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) or Tenable Nessus products. Familiarity with ACAS or Tenable .SC/Nessus best practices is essential. Strong knowledge of Linux-based (RHEL) or Windows operating systems support, virtualized environments (VMware vSphere, ESXi), and network patch/update management is required. Experience setting up and executing Tenable Nessus scans, reviewing scan data, assessing reports and trends through SC interface, determining whether a completed scan provides valid results, and ensuring reports/dashboards meet customer needs and expectations is crucial. The ability to install and patch operating systems, applications, and document Department Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) / Security Requirements Guide (SRG), applicable to each Non-classified or Secret Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet, SIPRNet) environment for all ACAS implementations is also necessary. Demonstrate advanced diagnostics, analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. A passion for continuous learning in IT data protection and technical/infrastructure technologies is essential. The estimated salary range for this position is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
