We are seeking a highly skilled Event Technician, Audio Visual to join our team at Disability Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with audio-visual equipment and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The Event Technician, Audio Visual will be responsible for the set up and operation of basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will report to an Operations Manager, Operations Director or Director, Event Technology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment.
- Meet with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
Key Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service/hospitality is an asset.
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and software is necessary.
Benefits:
- Overtime pay available.
- Bonuses and incentives.
Working Conditions:
The work environment will include hotel/convention center environments with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes.
