Banquet Manager

The Banquet Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for leading the Banquets Team to execute group and social events at our property. This is a dynamic role that requires a tactical and strategic approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Set the tone for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the Sales team to bring clients' visions to life, ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Manage Inventory and Operations: Oversee inventory management, control breakage/loss reduction, and maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of function spaces.
- Develop and Coach Team Members: Provide coaching, counseling, and constructive feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular communication with the F+B Management team to provide updates, discuss plans, and align on priorities.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a leadership role in Banquets, Catering, and/or Events or Food and Beverage management.
- Passion for Events: A genuine passion for events and guest services, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other applicable computer systems, as well as a thorough understanding of excellent service, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain and/or maintain Alcohol Awareness certification (TIPS) and Food Handlers Certification (SERV Safe) within 30-days of hire.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme temperatures.
