Job Summary
The Imaging Services department at WakeMed is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
- Operate state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
- Clinical experience in Radiology is preferred.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology or Computerized Tomography program is required.
- Registered Technologist for Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Sonography, or Computed Tomography is required.
Work Schedule
This is a variable shift position, with hours as needed.
