Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Substitute Cafeteria Worker to join our team at the Dayton Area School Consortium. As a Substitute Cafeteria Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to our food service team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup duties
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Set up and replenish serving lines as directed
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and food preparation areas
  • Learn how to operate the fire suppression system
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
  • Assist with special events and rental groups as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Meets all mandated health requirements
  • Documented evidence of a clear criminal record
  • Available and able to promptly report for work when called
  • Self-directed and able to learn required skills for the position
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, substitute position with varying schedules. You will be working in a school cafeteria environment with a fast-paced and dynamic team.
