Westcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver individual, group, and family counseling services, as well as complete documentation required for clinical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling services to clients.
  • Complete documentation required for clinical records, including Individual Service Plans (ISPs), psychosocial assessments, daily notes, and weekly reviews.
  • Attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and establish parameters for discharge planning.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation of situations to ensure safety to all.
  • Supervise and direct the activity of direct care staff.
  • Develop an approved curriculum as the basis for group and individual counseling.
Requirements
  • Current, active clinical license.
  • Holds a current QMHP level certification as a counselor for alcohol, drug, family, or related services from the National Association of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors, the National Board of Certified Counselors, or similar organization.
  • Ability to pass first-level and NABS background clearance.
  • As mandated by Presidential Order, all employees of WestCare Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of WestCare Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 11/1/2021. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources, will be required to test for the virus weekly.
