Weeden Elementary School is seeking an exceptional Education Specialist - Early Numeracy Intervention to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and experienced educator to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective early numeracy interventions, including dyscalculia interventions, to support students with diverse learning needs. With a strong background in mathematics instruction and expertise in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education, this individual will be an integral part of our school community.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree or have completed professional development recommended by the Elementary Mathematics Task Force. They will have a minimum of five years' experience as an early childhood education, elementary education, or special education teacher and hold a valid Alabama professional certificate in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,648 to $103,179, depending on the highest completed creditable degree and completed years of public school teaching experience. The Education Specialist - Early Numeracy Intervention will report directly to Dr. Daphne Hogan and will be responsible for developing and implementing effective early numeracy interventions. They will work closely with our teaching staff to ensure seamless integration with our curriculum and provide ongoing support to students and parents.
